Chen Lu is a Director, Director of Photography, and AI & 3D Creator. A graduate of the Film & TV program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, he has extensive experience directing and shooting short films. His portfolio spans narrative shorts, visual commercials, fashion films, music videos, and musical concept films.
He is highly proficient in collaborative visual generation using various AI tools, 3D software such as Unreal Engine, and post-production software including DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro.
Chen has collaborated with a diverse array of renowned brands, production companies, and artists, including Disney, Xiaomi, Montblanc, Geely Auto, RADO, GAP, Bilibili, 361°, Panasonic, DeRUCCI, HL Entertainment, Sony Music, and Geek-Shoot-Jack Studio. In 2021, he founded the production company FamishEyes Studio.
His work frequently explores interpersonal relationships and emotional themes, delivering a unique and poetic viewing experience. Grounded in a strong visual foundation, he maintains rigorous standards for storytelling and emotional expression within his narratives. The short film Ash, along with music videos Destination and SOFA, which he directed and shot, have garnered awards and official selections at prestigious international film festivals in New York, Los Angeles, and Beijing. Additionally, his photography has been exhibited at the Blanc Art Exhibition at the World Trade Center in New York.
